As mentioned on our Team Page, we started as a small group call Friday Conversations.
Then we called ourselves Future of Singapore Group or FOSG. We quickly realised that the Future of Singapore lies not just in Singapore alone, but in the region, specifically South East Asia and eventually Asian too.
Singapore is just too small to be able to compete in the World Stage especially in the volatile and fast changing environment the World operates in.
We need to work together with regional partners in ASEAN and Asia.
The closest country to Singapore is Malaysia, so naturally we reached out to the Madani government first.
The closest state in Malaysia is Johore, so next we reached out to one of the oldest Universities in Johore, Johore’s Southern University College.

Currently, our Work Group is call FOSSEA, which stands for
Future of Singapore and South East Asia.
FOSSEA will be joining the Penang Peace Dialogue organized by the Commonwealth of World Chinatowns in September.
