The Madani New Asia University project seeks to renew
a humane regional identity – to explore how
ASEAN can pursue growth with sacrificing compassion
under the pressure cooker of today’s systems.

Singapore pioneering architect and public intellectual advocating
humane, tropical design; former Singapore Institute of Architects
president and NUS adjunct professor focused on community centred urban futures, who will speak on how education and dignity intersects.
Yusmadi Yusoff
Malaysian lawyer and former MP/Senator; and founder of the
RIGHTS Foundation. He will articulate commitment to crossborder ASEAN friendship and dialogue between Islamic and Confucian traditions, to address the civilisational foundations of
progress.
